TRAINING

Advanced Module

The next District face to face training will be held on Tuesday 6 October from 10:00am to 4:00pm at Swan Bank Church, Swan Square, Burslem, ST6 2AA. Please email Shirley on shirley@swanbank.org.uk to book a place.

We also now have some new dates for online Advanced Safeguarding gathered sessions. These take place after completion of the online course on MCBX. The new dates are Monday 21st September and Tuesday 3rd November both at 7.30pm on Zoom. The session is 2 hours long. To participate in one of these gathered sessions, trainees must first complete the online course on MCBX called 'Creating Safer Spaces – Advanced Module.' To register for this and to receive an invite to complete the self-paced element of the course, please email Helen on csotfoundationtraining@gmail.com giving name, church, role and email address.

If you are aware that you need to attend an Advanced Module course, and cannot attend any of the dates mentioned above, please email Helen on csotfoundationtraining@gmail.com so that she is aware of the level of demand.

Foundation Module

The next in-person Foundation Module training will be at Helsby Methodist Church on Saturday 10th October.  The training runs from 9.30am to around 12.30pm, with refreshments beforehand. To book a place on this training, please email Rae at circuitsupport@northcheshiremethodists.org.uk with your name, email address and church.

The Foundation Module can also be completed through the online course at MCBX.
