Plum on the Sun – Community Cafe in Chester – Saturdays

Visiting Chester? Walking the walls? Well this is a great little place to pop in to for refreshments. The café lounge has been well supported by the local community with opening times being Saturdays, 9am to noon. They offer a selection of barista style coffees and hot chocolate, pots of tea, home made cake and pastries in return for modest donations to cover costs. Please do pop along to: Uniting Church in Garden Lane, 66 Garden Lane, Chester CH1 4EY (entrance via the Plum Terrace gate)

Helsby Friday Drop-in – every Friday (except Bank Holidays) 

Open to all – you will be very welcome! Pop in on a Friday (10am – 1pm) for a drink and a chat, a read of the newspaper, to play games or even do a spot of knitting! They offer hot drinks and biscuits and late morning delicious cheese toasties which are very popular! There is no charge for this but you are welcome to offer a donation if you wish. Registered as a Place of Welcome. On the last Friday of the month, OPAL (Older People Active Lives) runs a digital support session.

Wicksten Drive Coffee and Cake – last Friday of the month

At Wicksten Drive Christian Centre,  WA7 5DJ – 'Coffee & Cake' event is held on the last Friday of the month, 10am to 12 noon. All welcome.

Saltney Coffee and Chat - Thursdays

Thursday mornings, 10am to 11.30am, everyone is welcome to join us in the church hall for a cup of tea or coffee and some delicious cake. Come and enjoy a time to meet and chat together with friends. Address: High Street, Saltney, CH4 8SQ.

Frodsham Warm Welcome Stay, Play and Chat – Wednesdays

Wednesday mornings, 9.30am to 11.30am. Crafts, toys, games and activities – or just relax and chat. All ages welcome, refreshments provided.
