August Concert – Hoole

Concert – 24th August – Philip Rushforth

The next concert at Hoole Methodist Church is very exciting. Do add Sunday 24th August 3.00pm to your diaries when Philip Rushforth, the Director of Music at Chester Cathedral, will be performing.

Philip will be playing Widor's 5th Symphony that concludes with one of the most well-known pieces from the organ repertoire, the 'Wedding Toccata'. He will also include Andantino in Db, more commonly known as 'Moonlight & Roses' and will begin with Pierre Cochereau's lively Scherzo Symphonique.

You may not know all the music but be brave and be assured that Philip is giving us a very listenable and enjoyable programme.
