TBTS? at The Hurst

TBTS? stands for Too Busy To Stop? and since 1983 TBTS? has been offered at the Hurst every year except 2020, when material was made available online for people to use at home This year, 2022, sees the fortieth TBTS?.

TBTS? is a day of peace and reflection; a chance to step away from the busyness of Christmas; to revisit the story of Christ's birth; to light a candle for someone dear to you; to offer a prayer. It provides a quiet refuge at a time of year that has become difficult for many people, for many reasons.

TBTS? provides a warm space – somewhere just to come and sit. For some, TBTS? is Christmas.

This year TBTS? will be held on Saturday 17th December from 10am until 6pm at the Hurst. On arrival, someone will greet you and introduce you to this year's TBTS?. You will then be free to explore what is on offer without any interruption.

Come on your own, or bring someone with you. We hope you will find even half an hour to drop what you are doing and recharge your batteries! Stay as long as you like. Everyone is welcome.
